Heelguard drainage has the ability to process large volumes of water whilst restricting unwanted contaminants at ground level. In public areas, the wedge-shaped wire grate captures items such as cigarette butts, hypodermic syringes and other unwanted waste from entering the waterways. Due to the design of the fine wire grate, high heeled shoes- especially stilettos are safe from being captured in the drain, which can prevent broken ankles and injuries in public areas.
